Sherry, Administrative Manager
Sherry has over 30 years of dental experience and is a registered dental assistant with the state of Texas. She has been a part of our practice since 2016, and has accumulated a wealth of knowledge regarding utilization of insurance, financial arrangements, accounting, and coordination of patient care.
Outside of the office, Sherry enjoys spending time with family, quilting, playing guitar, and making soap!
Katherine, Patient Care Coordinator
Katherine’s career in the dental field spans over five years so far, and she really enjoys being able to help people with their smile needs effectively here at Huy P. Nguyen, DDS of Pasadena. Originally from Pasadena, she attended San Jacinto College for her education and is certified in CPR and nitrous oxide.
At home, Katherine is happily married with two children. When she isn’t busy helping patients at the dental office, she spends her free time with her family and friends and also enjoys going four-wheeling whenever possible.
Lisa, Dental Hygienist
Lisa has been in the dental profession since 1984, spending 13 years as a dental assistant and practicing dental hygiene since 1997.
Lisa lives in Baytown, TX with her mischievous puppies Nash and Randy. She enjoys dancing, kayaking and various activities with her grown kids.
Danette, Dental Hygienist
Danette began her dental career in 1981 as a Dental Assistant. After attending the University of Texas Dental Branch-Houston, she received her Dental Hygiene license in 1984.
Danette lives in Pasadena with her daughter Stevie and their 2 rescue cats - Missy and Moonie, and rescue dog Buddy. She enjoys hiking and cycling on the weekends with her boyfriend, John.
Heydy, Lead Dental Assistant
Heydy completed her dental education at Astrodome Career Centers and is also certified in nitrous oxide and CPR. Today, her career in the field spans well over five years so far. She loves being able to help patients achieve wonderful smiles again! Her willingness to go above and beyond for those in need makes her a great fit for Huy P. Nguyen, DDS of Pasadena.
Heydy hails from the Houston area and is married with a daughter and a son. Outside of the dental office, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, putting together crafts and decorations, lounging by the pool, and reading a good book.
Effie, Dental Assistant
Effie joined our team in February 2018, but has been a practicing chairside assistant since 2000. She is diligent in providing care and education to our patients, making their treatment as comfortable as possible.
Effie loves her career and is devoted to her family. She and her husband share 7 beautiful children and 1 grandchild.
